About us

The University Association for European Studies (AUSE) was founded in 1989, the same year in which the European Community launched the Jean Monnet Action. The Association represents over 100 professors and researchers in Italy and is a member of the European Community Studies Association (ECSA-World). The aim of the Association is to promote research, university teaching of European Studies and cooperation between universities in Europe and worldwide; to carry out international research projects; to organise conferences and seminars; and to publish academic texts on European integration issues. It actively participates in the educational process by organising Summer Schools.
